Sheet metal fabrication is the process of forming parts and products from a metal sheet. Sheet metal fabrication is one of the capabilities and services that Stretch Machining China Inc. proudly offers in addition to our other fabrication services. Utilizing our industry-standard Amada machinery to laser-cut, bend, and create bends and complex curvatures, Stretch Machining China’s engineers are comfortable and familiar with the tolerances and requirements needed to work with different thickness sheets of materials, usually which are aluminum and stainless steel.
Sheet metal manufacturing has become integral to numerous industries and has grown considerably in application and in use over the past few decades. Sheet metal manufacturing is utilized in many industries worldwide, including but not limited to, aerospace, automotive, commercial, medical, real-estate development, and more.
In many of the jobs performed at Stretch Machining China Inc., sheet metal fabrication is at the heart of the metal fabrication process. After our engineers review technical drawings, customer specifications, and engineering tolerances, they will determine the amount of shear cutting, bending, forming, punching, joining (welding, riveting, brazing, etc.), and other finishing requirements are needed to complete the job. Because we also offer CNC, bending (press brakes, V and U bends, forms, jigs), deburring, and welding as in-house services, Stretch Machining China Inc. takes pride in being a one-stop shop for your metal fabrication needs.
If your application also requires special finishing, such as anodizing, plating, powder-coating, or painting, we are capable in providing a quick turn-around time for these processes as well. Once we review the CAD file or technical drawing that calls for sheet metal fabrication, we will convert it to machine code, which allows our operators to program our Amada machinery to cut and form the sheets into the parts required with amazing precision.
